Frost & Flow assumes operations of Hot Water Now!
The Lakewood water heater specialist becomes the first company Frost & Flow runs.

LAKEWOOD, Colo.Frost & Flow has assumed day-to-day operations of Hot Water Now!, a water heater and plumbing contractor serving the Denver metropolitan area. It is the first company the group has taken on. Terms were not disclosed.
Hot Water Now! installs and services tank, tankless and hybrid electric water heaters across the Front Range, and carries a general residential plumbing book alongside that work. Among service and replacement plumbers in Colorado, it is the highest-volume Rinnai tankless contractor in the state.
The arrangement gives Frost & Flow operating control now and a path to ownership later. Buying a business before you have run it means paying for a set of assumptions. Running it first replaces them with facts, and it lets an owner hand over the day to day without deciding, on the same morning, whether to sell.
Water heaters fail on their own schedule. Replacement demand is non-discretionary, largely uncorrelated with housing turnover, and decided on the phone within hours of the failure. Tankless is the technical end of the trade, and the manufacturer certifications, diagnostic experience and parts inventory it demands take years to assemble.
Hot Water Now! was founded in 2006 and operates from Lakewood. It continues under its own name and its own crews.
Frost & Flow works with owners who want the company they built to keep operating after they step back. It is not a private equity fund and has no fund life or scheduled exit.
The journey to this deal wasn’t easy, but it’s done. Now the real work begins.
